Guest Ski Rules 2009

The
cost of a guest ski for 2009 has been set at £25 per ski for Non-BWS Members.
However if a guest can show that they are an existing BWS member the
guest ski fee is set at £20
·
A
ski consists of 8 passed of the slalom course or a maximum of 15 minutes free
skiing/wakeboarding.
·
The
use of wetsuits, life vests and tuition is included in the fee.
·
A
guest may ski any number of times on each visit.
·
Guests
are allowed a maximum of 3 visits to
the club after which they are required to join as full members before further
skiing will be allowed.
·
Guests
names should be entered in the SKI BOOK
by a member in the first available “Guest Ski” slot.
·
Guests
should be ready to ski in good time and waiting on the jetty at the allotted
time.
·
Guests
would normally be introduced by a member, who is responsible for the conduct of
their guest at all times.
·
The
name of the guest together with their full address and BWS Membership Number
(if applicable) must be entered into the GUEST
BOOK by the introducing member on each visit.

Members
should ensure that their guests are aware of the safety requirements whilst in
the club grounds, on the jetty and in the boat.
·
The
guest name should be entered in the SKI
BOOK by the introducing member in the first available “Guest Ski”
slot. The appropriate fee must be paid BEFORE skiing takes place.
·
The
member is responsible for collection of the guest fee, filling out the GUEST SKI TICKET and ensuring the fees
are paid to the treasurer.

The
member is responsible for ensuring that their guest is ready at the allotted
time when the boat arrives.
·
The
member should ensure that all equipment use by their guests is put away after
use.
·
Members
are encouraged to provide details of membership and application forms to their
guests (available in the Club House).
·
If
not driving themselves, it is the members responsibility to arrange a driver
and observer for the guest to ski.
·
From
time to time, guests may arrive unannounced at the club and wish to ski. In such cases a member should take
responsibility for the guest and take care of them accordingly.
