Yorkshire Water Ski Club - Membership Charges for 2004

General Information

Membership: YWSC operates from the Welton Water Sports Club. Membership to WWSC is required for all ski club members. In addition, we are affiliated to British Water Ski and membership to BWS is mandatory for all skiers. Again for the 2009 season we are running the scheme to allow the total cost of membership to be spread over the season with payment via Standing Order.

Beginner Lessons and Guests: We welcome guests and beginners to the club. For guests we operate a system which gives slightly higher priority to members if there is a queue. On busy days this allows one guest ski for every two member skis. On the not so busy days we operate on a simple first come first served basis. Simply turn up, pay the appropriate guest fee and wait your turn. Guests are allowed up to 3 visits to the club before they are required to join as members. Use of club equipment, wetsuits and life jackets and tuition for beginners is included in the fees.

Beginner course should be booked in advance.

Insurance: The club is covered for 3rd Party liabilities and all members receive personal accident insurance cover whilst water skiing through membership of the BWS.

Windsurfing: Membership is available through the Welton Sailing Club. All Windsurfers must have their own equipment and 3rd Party Insurance. Detail are available from Welton Sailing Club
